How To Protect Your Back Through Exercise
If you are like so many other people in this world then your back is bothering you, right? The problem that most people have with their back is that it is not that strong and they just don’t take care of it. Whether you are always sitting down in an office or moving around because of your job doesn’t matter, what matter is that you do what you can with what you have available to you. What I mean by this is that you should learn how to protect your back before you get back problems.
Now most people know that you can help your back by using a lumbar support cushion but what I want to talk to you about is protecting your back through exercise. The nice thing about exercise is that you don’t have to do a lot of it in order to protect yourself. Trust me, just doing the following exercises a few times a week will be more than enough to put you on the right path.
Great Back Exercises
Pushups – Now I know this is not the best back exercise, but it does help out a lot. The reason why a pushup does your back a lot of good is because when you are keeping your body in a straight back position then your back will remember that pose. If you can do 30 pushups per day while keeping your back perfectly straight then you will start to see and feel the difference in the way your back feels within a week.
Seated Row – If you think you need weights for a seated row then you are wrong. All you have to do is sit down with your arms extended out in front of you and then pull them back so that you squeeze your back muscles together. You should do at least 50 of these per day and since you are not using any weights it should not be that difficult for you to do. Just know remember that the straighter your back is during the exercise, the better.
The last thing that you need to know is that you have to do these 2 exercises on a regular basis. If you are not doing these on a regular basis then you won’t see any improvements. Trust me, I used to do these 3 times a week and within 1 week I say a noticeable difference and within 1 month my back was not hurting at all.
